Pinckney State Forest Trail

Info: DEC state forest area, the trail is very well maintained (volunteers including some from a group of Black River Adventure Shop -affiliated volunteers maintain or help to maintain this trail, I believe).  It can be a bit muddy, probably more so in wet Springs and Falls.  This is a great trail for mountain biking and hiking and snowshoeing.

Directions/Location: Knapp/Curtis Road, turn off from Odell/Parish Road, from Route 69, Watertown/Copenhagen address – look for one of two parking lots/mowed areas, trail is short distance down the road.  (I would highly recommend using the Curtis/Knapp Road directions above and the map below instead of Google Map’s “Pinkney State Forest” location.)
