In June of 1990 in Felts Mills, Terry Carr bludgeoned his wife, Stacey L. Carr, 33; and his step-children, Jimmy D. Johnson, 12, and Dessie A. Reed, 10, with a hammer. They were also stabbed and the young girl sexually abused. He then poured an accelerant all over the house and started it on fire.

With the assistance of a fire accelerant-sniffing dog; Carr was arrested, indicted and convicted of arson and murder in 1991. He is now serving a 45-to-life sentence.
