Bicentennial Park Trail

Info: This begins with a blacktopped trail which turns into a fine graveled trail along the Black River. Great views, benches and viewing areas along the way. But it is built beside the city’s processing plant and there is some smell and noise from that direction. If you continue on the trail eventually it goes down a small hill and branches and turns into two dirt trails, one of which goes up the hill to the JCC parking lot and on to Rand Drive. to JCC.

Directions/Location: 600 Wm. T. Field Drive (Watertown Fairgrounds), Watertown – off from Coffeen Street. Go onto the fairgrounds and pass by the arena, watch for Bicentennial Park on the right and it’s parking lot. Paralleling the parking lot to the left is the beginning of the trail. The first part is blacktopped, and then it turns into fine gravel, then dirt.
